Our SPC has faded by the window. Can it be repaired?

No: the wear layer is printed, and once it has faded it cannot be sanded or refinished. That is the one real disadvantage against timber, which can be sanded back. In a Kitisuru room with big west-facing glazing we would suggest timber, tile or terrazzo instead.

Does the split-level plan cost more to floor?

Slightly, and mostly in thresholds. Each half-landing is a junction between finishes or levels, and each needs a proper trim rather than a strip of aluminium. There are simply more of them in a Kitisuru house than in a flat plan.

In a room with serious west-facing glass we would steer you towards timber, tile or terrazzo, all of which either resist fading or can be renewed. That is a specification conversation worth having before the material is bought.

Smaller loads

Steep, tightly turned driveways rule out the vehicle we would normally use for heavy materials. Tile and terrazzo aggregate come in more, smaller loads, which is a real cost and one we price openly.

We survey the driveway before quoting rather than sending a load that cannot make the turn.
