What We Lay
Everything here starts with the same step: testing and preparing the slab. If you are still choosing between floor types, the price comparison is the faster place to begin.
Epoxy floor installation from KES 350 / m² Epoxy laid on a slab that has been tested and prepared, the step that decides whether it lasts. Terrazzo installation from KES 1,600 / m² In-situ terrazzo laid, ground and polished, with divider strips set where the floor actually needs them. Terrazzo polishing and restoration Grinding, grouting and repolishing existing terrazzo, usually cheaper and better than covering it. Wooden floor installation Solid, engineered and parquet timber laid at the right moisture content, with movement allowed for. Floor sanding and varnishing KES 400 / m² Sanding back and refinishing timber and parquet, usually far cheaper than replacing. Parquet installation quoted per m² Parquet blocks laid in herringbone or basketweave on a subfloor tested for moisture, not assumed dry. Vinyl and SPC installation from KES 1,700 / m² SPC and vinyl plank laid over a properly levelled subfloor: quick, waterproof and genuinely good value. Engineered wood installation quoted per m² Engineered boards installed floating or bonded, chosen on wear-layer thickness rather than on the photograph in the brochure. Floor and wall tiling from KES 350 / m² labour Ceramic, porcelain and large-format tiling laid flat, with the labour and material costs shown separately. Laminate flooring quoted per m² Laminate fitted over a level, dry subfloor, specified by AC wear rating rather than by the picture printed on it. Carpet fitting Broadloom, carpet tiles and stair fitting, laid over a subfloor that has been prepared rather than swept. Outdoor and pool tiling quoted per m² Terraces, poolsides and pool interiors tiled with slip-rated surfaces, external adhesive and falls set at survey.
